Senior Oncology Account Specialist (SOAS)

Responsibilities:
- Promote Pfizer’s product portfolio to healthcare providers and specialists.
- Educate healthcare community on appropriate use of Pfizer products.
- Call on accounts and organized customers to improve patients’ experience and overall quality of patient care.
- Increase Pfizer’s brand with high-value target customers by assessing account/business landscape and leveraging Pfizer products/resources.
- Promote a broad product portfolio; generate demand in assigned accounts.
- Develop and execute strategic territory/account/customer plans; maintain relationships across institutions.
- Cultivate relationships with KOLs; build lasting relationships with priority customers.
- Assess physician/account needs and address them using appropriate resources; engage and influence customers throughout the selling process.
- Overcome obstacles to access difficult-to-reach providers; work effectively in a matrix environment.

Basic Qualifications:
- BA/BS from an accredited institution OR associate’s degree with 8+ years experience OR high school diploma/equivalent with 10+ years relevant experience.
- Domestic travel with overnight stays as needed.
- Valid US driver’s license; compliant driving record (DUI/DWI or other impaired driving citation within past 7 years disqualifies).
- 4+ years Pharmaceutical Sales OR 4+ years Oncology HCP experience working with oncology thought leaders/high-influence customers.
- Track record of success in pharma sales or HCP experience.
- Ability to learn quickly and communicate technical/scientific product and disease management information.
- Demonstrated business acumen.
- Proficiency with complex digital applications and ability to adapt to Pfizer’s technology model.

Preferred Qualifications:
- 3–5 years Oncology sales; experience in Hematology.
- Master’s degree or Advanced HCP degree.
- Experience calling on institutions, NCI centers, and Key Opinion Leaders.
