Senior Oncology Account Specialist (SOAS)

Responsibilities:
- Promote Pfizer’s product portfolio to health care providers and specialists.
- Educate members of the healthcare community on the appropriate use of Pfizer products.
- Call on accounts and organized customers to improve patients’ experience with Pfizer products and overall quality of patient care.
- Increase brand presence with high-value target customers by assessing account/business landscape and applying Pfizer product/resources.
- Promote a broad portfolio of products; apply strong knowledge of disease states, therapeutic areas, and products.
- Generate demand for Pfizer products in assigned accounts.
- Conduct strategic account selling and management; develop territory/account/customer plans to achieve objectives.
- Maintain and cultivate relationships across institutions, including KOLs; build lasting relationships with top priority customers.
- Assess needs of target physicians/accounts and address them with responsive approaches, targeted skills, and appropriate resources.
- Overcome obstacles to gain access to difficult-to-see healthcare providers/customers.

Basic Qualifications:
- BA/BS from an accredited institution OR associate’s degree with 8+ years of experience OR high school diploma (or equivalent) with 10+ years of relevant experience.
- Ability to travel domestically and stay overnight as necessary.
- Valid US driver’s license and compliant driving record; any DUI/DWI or impaired driving citation within the past 7 years disqualifies you from being hired.
- Minimum 4 years of Pharmaceutical Sales experience OR minimum 4 years of Oncology HCP experience working with key oncology thought leaders/high-influence customers in hospitals, large group practices, or managed care organizations.
- Demonstrated track record of success in pharmaceutical sales or HCP experience.
- Ability to learn and communicate technical/scientific product and disease-management information to a wide range of customers.
- Demonstrated business acumen.
- Proficiency using complex digital applications and ability to adapt to Pfizer’s long-range technology model.

Preferred Qualifications:
- 3-5 years of Oncology sales experience.
- Experience in Hematology.
- Master’s Degree.
- Advanced HCP degree.
- Experience calling on institutions, NCI centers, and Key Opinion Leaders.
