Role Summary

The Senior Oncology Account Specialist (SOAS) will promote Pfizer’s product portfolio to health care providers and specialists, educate the healthcare community on appropriate use of Pfizer products, and call on accounts to improve patient experience and the quality of patient care delivered. The SOAS contributes to increasing Pfizer’s brand with high-value target customers by linking account insights with understanding of Pfizer’s products and resources.

Responsibilities

  • Promote broad portfolio of products; maintain strong knowledge of disease states, therapeutic areas, and products.
  • Educate and engage health care professionals and institutions on Pfizer products and guidelines.
  • Generate demand for Pfizer products in assigned accounts and develop strategic account plans to achieve objectives.
  • Build and maintain relationships throughout institutions; overcome access obstacles to health care providers.
  • Cultivate relationships with key opinion leaders and top priority customers; assess needs and address with targeted resources.
  • Communicate effectively, demonstrate leadership, and adapt to a rapidly changing environment.
  • Work in a matrix environment leveraging multiple resources to meet customer needs and deliver results.

Qualifications

  • Required: BA/BS degree or equivalent; 4+ years of pharmaceutical sales or oncology HCP experience; ability to travel domestically; valid US driver’s license; durable driving record; strong communication of technical and scientific information; business acumen; proficiency with digital applications.
  • Preferred: 3–5 years of oncology sales experience; Master’s or advanced HCP degree; experience calling on institutions, NCI centers, and key opinion leaders.

Additional Requirements

  • Territory includes Orlando, FL and surrounding areas; travel as needed; relocation may be offered.
