The Role
Senior Oncology Account Manager (Sr. OAM) will implement Nuvalent’s marketing strategies and achieve sales objectives by providing oncology healthcare professionals with products, services, and approved information so they can prescribe Nuvalent’s products appropriately.
Responsibilities
- Achieve assigned territory sales objectives and call goals.
- Develop and implement a territory business plan to meet customer needs.
- Navigate complex customer organizations (hospitals, IDNs, GPOs, healthcare communities) and align with cross-functional partners.
- Manage administrative requirements (budget, expense reports, CRM call reporting/synchronization) and operate within expense budget.
- Demonstrate deep understanding of HCP/account needs to strategically promote and expand product use.
- Complete training and ongoing updates (product knowledge, disease state, market, selling skills, compliance).
- Identify and resolve issues/opportunities; proactively communicate with marketing and sales leadership.
- Use competitive intelligence to report shifts in competitor activity and market/customer needs.
- Partner with Market Access, Medical Affairs (MSLs), Precision Engagement Managers, and Commercial leadership.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required (business/marketing/healthcare/life sciences preferred).
- 9+ years pharma/biotech sales; 3+ years in oncology/hematology and/or rare disease (oral therapeutic selling preferred).
- Excellent written/oral communication; strong MS Word/Excel/PowerPoint.
- Periodic overnight travel; occasional evenings/weekends for conferences.
