Responsibilities:
- Maintain advanced knowledge of uveal melanoma, tumor biology, emerging clinical data, competition, and darovasertib’s mechanism of action.
- Independently develop and execute territory/ecosystem account strategies to drive appropriate product utilization.
- Build relationships with academic oncologists, ocular specialists, and multidisciplinary stakeholders; translate complex clinical data into compliant, compelling education.
- Execute pre-launch and launch strategies; identify, activate, and optimize referral networks across the patient journey.
- Partner with Medical Affairs, Value & Access, and Patient Services to support complex accounts.
- Act as the voice of the customer, delivering actionable insights to internal stakeholders.
- Use analytics/performance data to optimize resource deployment and account prioritization.
- Manage administrative requirements (budget, expense reports, CRM call reporting) and ensure promotional activities meet regulatory/ethical standards.
- Travel: ~80%.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, biological sciences, or related discipline.
- 10+ years pharmaceutical sales; 5+ years oncology sales.
- Proven success launching a first-in-class/specialty oncology product in the US.
- Strong analytic/strategic/organizational skills; high autonomy/accountability/professionalism; patient-centric mindset.
- Demonstrated ability to engage in high-level scientific dialogue with academic HCPs.
- Reimbursement process understanding and ability to support patient access.
- Proven experience with complex, high-impact academic and community oncology accounts.
- Experience in rare disease/orphan oncology highly preferred.
- Residence within assigned geographic region.
