Position Summary
Senior Oncology Account Manager (OAM) β field-based role reporting to the Regional Business Director.
What youβll do:
- Maintain advanced knowledge of uveal melanoma, tumor biology, emerging clinical data, competitive environment, and darovasertib mechanism of action
- Develop and execute territory/ecosystem account strategies to drive appropriate product utilization
- Build peer-level relationships with leading academic oncologists, ocular specialists, and multidisciplinary stakeholders
- Translate complex clinical data into clear, compliant, stakeholder-specific product education
- Execute pre-launch/launch strategies aligned to national brand objectives
- Identify/activate/optimize referral networks across the patient journey
- Partner with Medical Affairs, Value & Access, and Patient Services to support complex accounts
- Act as the voice of the customer; deliver insights to internal stakeholders
- Use analytics/performance data to prioritize resources and adapt execution plans
- Manage administrative requirements (budget, expenses, CRM call reporting)
- Ensure promotional activities meet regulatory/ethical standards
- Travel: ~80%
Requirements:
- Bachelorβs degree in business, biological sciences, or related discipline
- 10+ years pharmaceutical sales; 5+ years oncology sales
- Proven success launching a first-in-class/specialty oncology product in the US
- Strong preference: rare disease/orphan oncology/specialized markets
- Ability to engage in high-level scientific dialogue with academic professionals
- Comprehensive understanding of reimbursement and fulfillment pathways for oral oncolytics; ability to support patient access
- Proven track record managing high-impact academic/community accounts
- Strong analytics, strategic planning, organization; autonomy/accountability; patient-centric mindset
- Overnight travel; residence within assigned geographic region
