What you’ll do:
- Demonstrate advanced knowledge of uveal melanoma, tumor biology, emerging clinical data, the competitive environment, and darovasertib’s mechanism of action
- Independently develop and execute territory and ecosystem-level account strategies to drive product utilization
- Build peer-level relationships with academic oncologists, ocular specialists, and multidisciplinary stakeholders
- Translate complex clinical data into clear, compliant, tailored product education
- Execute pre-launch and launch strategies aligned to national brand objectives
- Identify, activate, and optimize referral networks across the patient journey
- Partner with Medical Affairs, Value & Access, and Patient Services to support complex accounts
- Act as voice of the customer, providing insights to inform brand strategy and lifecycle planning
- Use analytics/performance data to optimize resource deployment and account prioritization
- Complete administrative requirements (budget, expenses, CRM reporting/synchronization) and ensure promotional activities meet regulatory/ethical standards
- Travel: ~80%
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, biological sciences, or related discipline
- Minimum 10 years pharmaceutical sales; minimum 5+ years oncology sales
- Proven success launching a first-in-class or specialty oncology product in the US
- Experience in rare disease/orphan oncology or specialized markets (strongly preferred)
- Ability to engage in high-level scientific dialogue with academic healthcare professionals
- Strong understanding of reimbursement and fulfillment pathways for oral oncolytics; ability to support patient access
- Proven track record managing complex, high-impact academic/community oncology accounts
- Strong analytics, strategic planning, and organizational skills; high autonomy/accountability/professionalism
- Patient-centric mindset grounded in integrity and scientific rigor
- Overnight travel as needed; residence within assigned geographic region
