Position Summary:
Senior Oncology Account Manager (OAM) to serve as a strategic territory leader within a designated geographic region. Responsible for leading the launch and adoption of darovasertib within assigned geography (uveal melanoma).
What you’ll do:
- Maintain advanced knowledge of uveal melanoma, tumor biology, emerging clinical data, competitive environment, and darovasertib’s mechanism of action
- Develop and execute territory and ecosystem-level account strategies to drive product utilization
- Build peer-level relationships with academic oncologists, ocular specialists, and multidisciplinary stakeholders
- Translate complex clinical data into clear, compliant product education tailored to stakeholders
- Execute pre-launch and launch strategies aligned with national brand objectives
- Identify, activate, and optimize referral networks across the patient journey
- Partner with Medical Affairs, Value & Access, and Patient Services to support complex accounts
- Act as voice of the customer; deliver insights to internal stakeholders for brand strategy and lifecycle planning
- Use analytics/performance data to prioritize resources and adapt execution plans
- Handle administrative requirements (budget, expense reports, CRM call reporting)
- Ensure promotional activities meet regulatory and ethical standards
- Travel: ~80%
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, biological sciences, or related discipline
- 10+ years pharmaceutical sales; 5+ years oncology sales
- Proven US success launching first-in-class or specialty oncology products
