Senior Oncology Account Manager (OAM)
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate advanced knowledge of uveal melanoma, tumor biology, emerging clinical data, competition, and darovasertib mechanism of action.
- Independently develop and execute territory/ecosystem account strategies to drive appropriate product utilization.
- Build peer-level relationships with leading academic oncologists, ocular specialists, and multidisciplinary stakeholders.
- Translate complex clinical data into clear, compliant product education tailored to stakeholders.
- Execute pre-launch and launch strategies aligned with national brand objectives.
- Identify, activate, and optimize referral networks across the patient journey.
- Partner with Medical Affairs, Value & Access, and Patient Services to support complex accounts.
- Serve as voice of the customer; deliver insights to internal stakeholders for brand strategy and lifecycle planning.
- Use analytics/performance data to optimize resource deployment and account prioritization.
- Complete required administrative tasks (budget, expense reports, CRM call reporting/sync).
- Ensure promotional activities meet regulatory/ethical standards.
- Travel ~80%.
Requirements
- Bachelorβs degree in business, biological sciences, or related discipline.
- 10+ years pharmaceutical sales; 5+ years oncology sales.
- Proven success launching a first-in-class or specialty oncology product in the US.
- Rare disease/orphan oncology/specialized market experience strongly preferred.
- Ability to engage in high-level scientific dialogue with academic healthcare professionals.
- Reimbursement and oral oncolytics fulfillment pathway understanding; ability to support patient access.
- Proven track record managing complex, high-impact academic and community oncology accounts.
- Strong analytics, strategic planning, organizational skills; autonomy/accountability/professionalism.
- Patient-centric mindset; overnight travel as needed; residence within assigned region.
