Position Summary:
Senior Oncology Account Manager (OAM) is a strategic territory leader responsible for leading the launch and adoption of darovasertib within an assigned geographic region, and serving as a key conduit for clinical, scientific, and market intelligence related to darovasertib in uveal melanoma.
What youβll do:
- Maintain advanced knowledge of uveal melanoma and darovasertib (incl. mechanism of action, clinical data, and competitive environment)
- Develop and execute territory/ecosystem account strategies to drive appropriate product utilization
- Build peer-level relationships with academic oncologists, ocular specialists, and multidisciplinary stakeholders
- Translate complex clinical data into clear, compliant product education tailored to stakeholders
- Execute pre-launch and launch strategies aligned with national brand objectives
- Identify, activate, and optimize referral networks across the patient journey
- Partner with Medical Affairs, Value & Access, and Patient Services to support complex accounts
- Serve as the voice of the customer and provide actionable insights to internal teams
- Use analytics/performance data to prioritize accounts and optimize resource deployment
- Complete administrative requirements (budget, expenses, CRM reporting) within timelines
- Ensure promotional activities meet regulatory and ethical standards
- Travel: ~80%
Requirements:
- Bachelorβs degree in business, biological sciences, or related discipline
- 10+ years pharmaceutical sales; 5+ years oncology sales
- Proven success launching a first-in-class or specialty oncology product in the US
- Rare disease/orphan oncology/specialized markets experience (strongly preferred)
- Ability to engage in high-level scientific dialogue with academic HCPs
- Knowledge of reimbursement and fulfillment pathways for oral oncolytics to support patient access
- Track record managing complex academic/community oncology accounts
- Strong analytic, strategic planning, and organizational skills
- Autonomy, accountability, professionalism; patient-centric mindset grounded in integrity and scientific rigor
- Overnight travel; residence within assigned region
Total Rewards (as stated):
- Expected salary range: $187,000β$231,000
