Senior Oncology Account Manager (OAM) β field-based
What youβll do:
- Demonstrate advanced knowledge of uveal melanoma, tumor biology, emerging clinical data, competitive environment, and darovasertib mechanism of action
- Independently develop and execute territory/ecosystem account strategies to drive product utilization
- Build peer-level relationships with academic oncologists, ocular specialists, and multidisciplinary stakeholders
- Translate complex clinical data into clear, compliant product education tailored to stakeholders
- Execute pre-launch and launch strategies aligned to national brand objectives
- Identify, activate, and optimize referral networks across the patient journey
- Partner with Medical Affairs, Value & Access, and Patient Services to support complex accounts
- Serve as the voice of the customer, providing actionable insights to internal stakeholders
- Use analytics/performance data to prioritize resources and adapt execution plans
- Complete administrative requirements (budget, expenses, CRM reporting/synchronization)
- Ensure promotional activities meet regulatory/ethical standards
- Travel ~80%
Requirements:
- Bachelorβs degree in business, biological sciences, or related discipline
- Minimum 10 years pharmaceutical sales; minimum 5+ years oncology sales
- Proven success launching a first-in-class/specialty oncology product in the US
- Strong scientific dialogue with academic healthcare professionals
- Reimbursement and fulfillment knowledge for oral oncolytics to support patient access
- Track record managing complex academic/community accounts
- Strong analytics, strategic planning, organization; high autonomy/accountability; patient-centric integrity and rigor
- Overnight travel; residence within assigned region
Preferred:
- Experience in rare disease/orphan oncology/specialized markets
