Senior Oncology Account Manager (OAM) responsibilities:
- Directly promote Jazz Pharmaceuticals’ Adult and Pediatric Oncology products and achieve short- and long-term sales goals.
- Develop and manage business relationships with therapeutic specialists within an assigned geographical territory.
- Use sales analytics to understand prescribing and purchasing decision processes and differences from national trends.
- Understand internal customer business models and external customer reimbursement/managed care/payer trends to inform the annual territory business plan.
- Research and analyze customer needs; identify key account stakeholders and their roles, priorities, motivations, and patient needs.
- Leverage available resources (dashboards, alerts, omnichannel reports, speaker programs, conference attendance) and provide timely cross-functional feedback on trends, performance, industry issues, and business opportunities/obstacles.
- Define clear, measurable objectives aligned to company and customer needs; develop and implement tailored, customized account strategic plans and adjust them based on changing conditions.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, medical affairs, and market access to execute account strategies and achieve shared objectives.
- Serve as primary point of contact for designated accounts and create a streamlined interface between account stakeholders and field colleagues.
- Stay current on industry/competitive/clinical oncology developments to communicate differentiation and value.
- Build and maintain relationships with key physicians, healthcare providers, and organizations in the territory.
- Communicate, educate, and consult across the neuro-oncology therapeutic area (including diffuse midline glioma and neuro-oncology); respond to questions about approved products/therapies per clinical information and compliance guidelines.
- Challenge prescribers appropriately regarding treatment decisions associated with assigned products.
- Deliver compliant commercial sales results using approved on-label tools; organize/facilitate meetings to exchange medical and product information per policies/regulatory/legal requirements.
- Represent the company at live/virtual conferences and company events; use CRM tools to manage interactions, track sales activities, and maintain accurate territory records.
- Present professionally and ensure activities align with ethical pharmaceutical marketing policies; complete special projects as assigned; work within allocated budget.

Required qualifications/skills:
- Four-year college/university degree.
- Minimum 5 years in the oncology market.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with effective face-to-face and virtual presentation.
- Ability to meet territorial travel requirements.

Preferred qualifications/skills:
- Post-graduate business school study/training.
- Strong clinical/technical/scientific knowledge of products and applicable disease states.
- Strategic thinker who can drive a strategic account business plan.
- Strong key account management experience in complex academic and community accounts.
- Demonstrated business acumen, problem-solving, prioritization, account management, and sales data analytics skills.
- Proven cross-functional teamwork/collaboration.
- Proactive, results-oriented approach to driving sales growth.
- Experience with brain tumor, diffuse midline glioma, and neuro-oncology.
- Key Account & Market dynamics knowledge.

- Base pay range: $155,200.00 - $232,800.00.
