Senior Medical Scientist โ Genitourinary Oncology โ Global Medical Affairs
Responsibilities:
- Support development/execution of the global medical affairs strategy for genitourinary oncology (prostate cancer), including medical insight generation and translation into strategic activities.
- Lead scientific advisory boards and Executive Advisory Councils to inform clinical development strategy, shape the Target Product Profile (TPP), and guide global launch planning.
- Support development/execution of the global medical evidence generation strategy (AUEG) to shape clinical practice, demonstrate product value, and enable patient access.
- Develop an integrated medical communication framework (clinical narrative, scientific platform, core content) and inform global medical education.
- Partner cross-functionally with Clinical Development, HEOR, Market Access, Commercial, and Regional Medical teams.
- Create external stakeholder engagement plans with opinion leaders, cooperative groups, advocacy organizations, professional societies, and payer stakeholders.
- Monitor emerging scientific data, treatment paradigms, biomarkers, and competitive developments to identify opportunities/risks.
Basic Qualifications:
- Doctorate (PhD/MD-DO/PharmD) + 2+ years Medical Affairs in biotech/pharma/CRO
OR Masterโs + 4 years
OR Bachelorโs + 6 years
OR Associateโs + 10 years
OR HS/GED + 12 years
Preferred Qualifications:
- Genitourinary oncology (prostate cancer), immuno-oncology/targeted therapies; research/clinical teaching experience; stakeholder engagement; trial design/RWE/biostatistics/translational medicine; global oncology studies/standards of care; medical judgment; strategic vision; regulations knowledge; strong communication/presentation.
