Position Summary
Senior Medical Science Liaison (MSL), Rare Disease – PNW (field-based, West region: Northern California, Oregon, Washington). Candidates may reside anywhere in the assigned territory; travel up to 75%.

Primary Responsibilities
- Develop relationships with national/regional thought leaders, patient advocacy groups, and centers of excellence.
- Engage thought leaders for research/medical discussion and scientific exchange/education on current and emerging therapies.
- Support research trial sites and cultivate/facilitate investigator-initiated research proposals.
- Build and maintain scientific, clinical, and therapeutic expertise for Acadia’s portfolio.
- Collaborate cross-functionally (per compliance guidelines) with regional field leadership partners (RBLs, ABMs).
- Provide strategic field insights and identify disease concepts/compound characteristics for product differentiation.
- Provide scientific/clinical/educational support to internal and external clients.
- Represent the company at continuing education events, medical meetings, and conventions.
- Support Commercial operations via Speaker and Sales Representative Training.
- Partner with internal departments to ensure accurate medical/scientific information. Perform other duties as assigned.

Education/Experience/Skills
- Advanced degree required (MD, PharmD, or PhD).
- Minimum 5 years pharma/biotech industry experience.
- Strongly preferred: rare diseases, epilepsy, neurology, or psychiatry therapeutic experience; prior MSL experience.
- Knowledge of industry regulations, compliance, and clinical research practices.
- Travel up to 75% (including overnight); residence within territory.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Salary/Benefits (explicitly stated)
- Salary range: $181,300–$226,600.
