Territory: Delaware, Maryland, Washington DC, Virginia, West Virginia, and North Carolina (candidate must reside within territory).
What You Will Do:
- Engage Key Medical Experts (KMEs) and HCPs as a credible medical/scientific expert to support clinical decisions about disease state and Biogen products.
- Build deep, strategic, long-term relationships with stakeholders; be a solutions-driven partner.
- Participate in US Medical strategy-aligned projects/initiatives.
- Meet qualitative/quantitative medical excellence goals; execute KME engagement plans.
- Capture and report KME/HCP medical insights using Veeva with consistency and accuracy.
Required Skills/Qualifications:
- Advanced scientific or clinical degree required; Doctoral (MD, PhD, PharmD, DNP) strongly preferred.
- Field Medical Science Liaison experience required.
- Effective communication; bilingual in Spanish/English preferred.
- Comfortable with digital tools/technology; willing to learn new systems.
- Accountability to goals/KPIs.
- Strong ethical/industry compliance mindset.
- Travel at least 60% (overnights and occasional weekends).
- 18+ with valid driverβs license and acceptable driving record; ability to drive company leased/rental vehicle.
Preferred Skills:
- Rare disease clinical expertise, including ALS, Friedreich Ataxia, and/or Spinal Muscular Atrophy.
Comp/Benefits (as stated):
- Base salary range: $165,000β$221,000.
