Senior Medical Science Liaison (Sr MSL) – Pain Program (near-term launch)

Key Duties & Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain trusted relationships with Thought Leaders and other allied HCPs/stakeholders to support pain care decisions.
- Use pain expertise to strengthen engagements across academic centers and integrated delivery networks.
- Apply the Scientific Engagement Model (SEM) in all interactions.
- Incorporate the medical plan into territory planning; capture feedback in CRM to inform medical strategy.
- Use CRM/data analytics for timely interaction capture and workload management.
- Communicate clinical/scientific/health economic information compliantly to external stakeholders.
- Demonstrate knowledge of pharmacists, P&T committees, payers, and Integrated Delivery Networks; understand payer impact on care.
- Support clinical development/operations: understand IB content; present at SIV meetings; help with trial-site nominations; review end-of-study data with investigators.
- Represent the company at medical congresses (sessions/abstract coverage, booth staffing, TL interactions, summaries; may serve as congress lead).
- Mentor/train less experienced colleagues; support onboarding.

Knowledge/Skills
- Experience with medical conditions associated with pain; appraise medical/scientific literature.
- Present clinical/scientific information credibly; strong territory knowledge.
- In-depth regulatory/compliance knowledge; proficient Microsoft Office; matrix experience.
- Health economics/outcomes research knowledge; fluent in English and local language (oral/written).

Requirements
- Advanced biomedical/life sciences degree (Master’s/NP/PA) or terminal desirable (PhD/PharmD/MD).
- Typically 5+ years as an MSL or equivalent pharma/biotech medical affairs experience.
- Live within the identified North West territory near an airport; routine travel as needed.

Pay Range: $171,300–$256,900 (eligible for annual bonus and annual equity awards).
