What You Will Do
- Be a credible medical/scientific expert engaging with Key Medical Experts (KMEs) and HCPs to support best clinical decisions for disease state and Biogen’s products.
- Build deep, strategic, long-term relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Serve as a responsive, solutions-driven partner to medical community leaders.
- Engage in projects/initiatives aligned to US Medical strategy, objectives, and tactics.
- Meet qualitative and quantitative medical excellence goals; deliver KME engagement plans; navigate office resources with field and non-field colleagues.
- Capture and report KME/HCP medical insights using Veeva with consistency and accuracy.

Required Skills / Qualifications
- Advanced scientific or clinical degree required; Doctoral (MD, PhD, PharmD, DNP) strongly preferred.
- 5+ years of Rheumatology/Dermatology Medical Science Liaison experience required.
- Must reside in territory: OH, MI, IN, WI, IL, MN, IA, MO, ND, SD, NE.
- Effective communication, empathy, and audience-appropriate engagement.
- Digital potential; comfort learning and using new tools/systems.
- Accountability to goals, metrics, and KPIs.
- Ethical understanding of industry rules for patient benefit.
- Travel at least 60% (overnight; occasionally weekends).
- Age 18+, valid driver’s license, acceptable driving record; ability to drive a company leased vehicle or rental.

Preferred Skills
- Clinical experience and subject matter expertise in systemic and/or cutaneous lupus (CLE).
