Medical Science Liaison – Rare Immunology (Field-based, external)

Territory: PA, OH, MI, NYC, NJ, DE (must reside in territory). Reports to Director, Field Medical.

Responsibilities (How you will contribute):
- Externally-focused KOL/HCP activities (minimum 80% of responsibilities).
- Build and maintain professional relationships with KOLs/HCPs aligned to territory medical strategy.
- Apply advanced disease/product knowledge; analyze and disseminate complex scientific information to KOLs/HCPs in a compliant, fair-balanced, non-misleading manner.
- Support Takeda-sponsored research; assist with strategically aligned medical collaborative and investigator-initiated studies.
- Collect, interpret, and internally communicate medical insights to inform/refine medical strategy and tactics.
- Identify and cultivate partnership opportunities between KOLs/HCPs and Takeda US Medical.
- Execute medical strategy at conferences; communicate insights gained from posters/sessions and KOL/HCP interactions.
- Respond to unsolicited HCP medical information inquiries referred by Medical Information within timelines/quality standards.
- Complete required customer activity documentation (e.g., CRM), training, expense reporting, and other administrative tasks timely and compliantly.

Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in health sciences (MSN, NP, or PA) minimum; doctoral degree (PharmD/MD/PhD or equivalent) preferred.
- 0–2 years healthcare/related experience after awarding professional degree.
- Excellent written/verbal communication, organization, and collaboration.

- Clinical/research/teaching experience; virtual/cross-functional teamwork.
- Legal/regulatory/compliance execution.
- Use of digital tools (including AI) to improve productivity.

Travel:
- Up to 70% travel; some overnight/weekend.
- Ability to drive and/or fly; clean, valid driver’s license.
