Senior Medical Science Liaison (Dermatology) β Northern New Jersey territory
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a territory scientific engagement plan aligned to Medical Affairs strategy.
- Conduct high-quality two-way scientific exchanges with KOLs/HCPs; identify trends, unmet needs, and education gaps.
- Build professional relationships to advance scientific credibility.
- Use MSL tools and AI to improve decision-making, streamline processes, and enhance outcomes.
- Assess and deliver tailored, balanced scientific education; translate complex evidence for HCPs.
- Collect and share actionable insights to inform medical strategy and planning.
- Support investigators/internal partners for company-sponsored and investigator-initiated studies.
- Respond to unsolicited inquiries with compliant, objective scientific information.
- Collaborate with internal teams (including matrix partners and appropriate Sales/Marketing interactions).
- Stay current with scientific/treatment advances by evaluating emerging data quality and applicability.
- Maintain required administrative documentation in a timely, accurate, compliant manner.
Qualifications:
- Doctorate degree (PharmD, PhD, MD, etc.) or equivalent; post-graduate experience required (therapeutic clinical experience preferred).
- 2+ years relevant experience, including demonstrated MSL success.
- Up to 70% travel; valid US Driverβs License.
Preferred:
- Residency/fellowship; therapeutic area knowledge.
- Microsoft Word/Excel/PowerPoint, CoPilot; related clinical/research/pharma experience.
- Commitment to emerging tech (AI).

Compensation/Benefits (as stated):
- Anticipated base pay: $137,000β$235,750.
- Vacation 120 hrs/yr; Sick 40 hrs/yr (state variations); Holiday pay 13 days/yr; Parental leave 480 hrs; Bereavement 240 hrs; Caregiver leave 80 hrs (10 days); Volunteer leave 32 hrs; Military spouse time-off 80 hrs/yr.
