Senior Medical Science Liaison (Field-based, external customer-facing)

Territory: must reside in AZ, NM, TX, OK, AR, LA, TN, or MS.

Responsibilities (How You Will Contribute)
- Externally-focused KOL/HCP activities (β‰₯80%).
- Build and maintain KOL/HCP relationships aligned to territory medical strategy.
- Analyze and disseminate complex scientific data to KOLs/HCPs compliantly (fair-balanced, non-misleading).
- Support Takeda-sponsored research; assist with medical collaborative studies and investigator-initiated research.
- Collect, interpret, and communicate medical insights from KOLs/HCPs to inform strategies.
- Identify/cultivate KOL/HCP partnership opportunities with Takeda US Medical.
- Execute medical strategy at conferences; communicate insights from posters/sessions and KOL/HCP interactions.
- Respond to unsolicited HCP medical inquiries referred by Medical Information.
- Use digital tools (including AI) to improve productivity and efficiency.
- Complete timely, accurate, compliant customer documentation, training, expense reporting, and administration.

Minimum Requirements / Qualifications
Required:
- Master’s degree in health sciences (MSN, NP, or PA) minimum; doctoral degree preferred (PharmD/MD/PhD or equivalent).
- 2+ years post-doctorate field-based MSL experience in pharma.
- Excellent written/verbal communication, organization, and collaboration.
- Ability to execute activities within legal/regulatory/compliance requirements.

Preferred:
- Dissemination of complex scientific data to healthcare audiences.
- Relevant therapeutic area knowledge; clinical/research/teaching experience.
- Effective in virtual and cross-functional teams.
- Use of digital tools (including AI).

Travel Requirements
- Up to 70% travel, including some overnight and weekend; valid driver’s license.

Compensation & Benefits (explicitly stated)
- Base salary range (TX – Virtual): $151,100–$237,490.
