About the Role:
Senior Medical Science Liaison (field-based, external customer-facing). Territory: AZ, NM, TX, OK, AR, LA, TN, MS (must reside in territory).

How You Will Contribute:
- Externally-focused KOL/HCP activities (minimum 80%). Build and maintain relationships aligned to territory medical strategy.
- Analyze/interpret complex scientific data and disseminate to KOLs/HCPs compliantly (fair-balanced, non-misleading).
- Support Takeda-sponsored research; assist with medical collaborative studies and investigator-initiated research.
- Collect and internally communicate medical insights from KOLs/HCPs to refine medical strategies/tactics.
- Identify/cultivate partnership opportunities between KOLs/HCPs and Takeda US Medical.
- Participate in medical conferences; respond to unsolicited HCP medical inquiries referred by Medical Information.
- Use digital tools (including AI) to enhance productivity; complete required documentation (CRM entries, insights capture, training, expense reporting).

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:
Required:
- Master’s degree in health sciences (MSN, NP or PA) minimum; doctoral degree preferred (PharmD/MD/PhD or equivalent).
- 2+ years post-doctorate experience as a field-based MSL in pharma.
- Excellent written/verbal communication, organization, collaboration; execute within legal/regulatory/compliance requirements.
Preferred:
- Complex scientific data dissemination; therapeutic area expertise; clinical/research/teaching experience; effective virtual/cross-functional work; use of digital tools/AI.

Travel Requirements:
- Up to 70% travel (overnight/weekend); drive/fly to meetings; clean valid driver’s license.

Compensation/Benefits (summary as stated):
- Base salary range (TX): $151,100–$237,490; eligible for incentives and benefits (medical/dental/vision, 401(k) match, disability, life, tuition reimbursement, PTO, holidays, well-being). Up to 80 hours sick time/year; up to 120 hours paid vacation for new hires.
