Senior Medical Science Liaison (Remote, Field-based)

How you will contribute
- Externally-focused KOL/HCP activities (minimum 80% of responsibilities)
- Build and maintain professional relationships with KOLs/HCPs per territory plans aligned to medical strategy
- Analyze and disseminate complex scientific information to KOLs/HCPs in a compliant, fair-balanced, non-misleading manner
- Support Takeda-sponsored research; facilitate medical collaborative studies and investigator-initiated research
- Collect, interpret, and internally communicate medical insights from KOLs/HCPs to refine medical strategies/tactics
- Identify and cultivate partnership opportunities between KOLs/HCPs and Takeda US Medical
- Execute medical strategy at conferences and communicate insights from poster/session attendance and KOL/HCP interactions
- Respond to unsolicited HCP medical information inquiries referred by Medical Information within timelines and quality standards
- Complete required customer activity documentation (e.g., CRM entries, insights capture), training, expense reporting, and administrative tasks

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications
- Masterโ€™s degree in health sciences (MSN, NP or PA) (doctoral degree preferred: PharmD/MD/PhD or equivalent)
- Minimum 2 yearsโ€™ experience as a field-based Medical Science Liaison (MSL) in the pharmaceutical industry
- Excellent written/verbal communication, organization, and collaboration skills

- Dissemination of complex scientific data; therapeutic area knowledge/expertise
- Clinical, research, and/or teaching experience
- Ability to work effectively in virtual and cross-functional teams
- Execution within legal/regulatory/compliance requirements

Travel requirements
- Up to 70% travel (including some overnight and weekends); drive/fly as needed
- Clean, valid driverโ€™s license
