Florida/Georgia Territory
Responsibilities
- Identify and develop peer-to-peer relationships with KOLs and healthcare providers in neurology & epilepsy.
- Develop and execute territory plans aligned with Medical Affairs plans.
- Collaborate across functions to maximize territory opportunities.
- Identify and communicate clinical/research issues, insights, and data gaps from KOLs to appropriate departments.
- Provide medical education to HCPs via on-site presentations, investigator meetings, national conferences, advisory boards, or regional meetings.
- Provide scientific/clinical support to formulary committees or payers with market access.
- Lead scientific support for medical congress staffing, advisory boards, and sales training initiatives.
- Provide clinical presentations and respond to unsolicited questions (as appropriate).
- Serve as a medical consultant to the internal medical information department.
- Act as primary liaison to investigators for investigator-initiated trials (IIT).
- Monitor investigator-initiated research, review study design, and oversee milestone requirements.
- Support patient enrollment in company-sponsored trials and lead investigator partnerships.
- Serve as internal scientific advisor for new products/technologies as needed.
Requirements
- MS in a scientific/medical discipline; MD, PharmD, or PhD strongly preferred.
- MSL experience; epilepsy, spasticity and/or cannabinoid science strongly preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to partner and maintain relationships in the medical community.
- Excellent presentation/teaching skills; strong scientific/pharmaceutical knowledge.
- Clinical/research experience in epilepsy, neurology and/or cannabinoid science preferred.
- Preferred: working knowledge of US legal, regulatory, and compliance requirements for HCP interactions.
- Strong capabilities working with digital platforms and tools.
- Travel 60–80%; valid driver’s license; live within 30 miles of a major airport.
