Senior Medical Director, Radiopharmaceutical Imaging (RPI)

Role: Senior Medical Director, Radiopharmaceutical Imaging, leading the development of RayzeBio’s diagnostic imaging pipeline for cancer indications such as prostate, hepatocellular, and neuroendocrine tumors. Objectives include defining imaging strategy, overseeing clinical development from IND to Phase 3, and ensuring high-quality execution across programs. Responsibilities encompass guiding cross-functional teams (Clinical Development, Regulatory, Biomarkers, Medical Affairs), managing study design, medical monitoring, regulatory interactions, and external collaborations. Qualifications: MD with 8+ years in biotech/pharma, with substantial experience in oncology diagnostic and radiopharmaceutical imaging development, including early- and late-phase trials, regulatory submissions, and vendor management. Preferred skills include strategic leadership, strong scientific judgment, experience with multicenter imaging studies, and proficiency in GCP/ICH guidelines. The role requires travel (~30%), and involves external stakeholder engagement, clinical and regulatory strategy, and cross-functional alliance building.
