Senior Medical Director, Radiopharmaceutical Imaging (RPI)

Responsibilities:
- Define and own diagnostic imaging portfolio strategy and target product profiles.
- Serve as imaging Clinical Development lead; provide medical/scientific direction and decision-oriented development plans.
- Lead cross-functional matrix teams and external partners (investigators, academic collaborators, CROs, central readers) to design/execute early- and late-phase imaging studies.
- Own protocol concepts and critical documents (protocols, investigator brochures, SAP inputs, clinical study reports, regulatory/medical communications); perform medical monitoring and data review.
- Provide medical oversight (eligibility/risk assessments, safety review, medical monitoring strategy, escalation with Drug Safety/Pharmacovigilance).
- Lead governance for imaging programs, including data review and IDMCs/DMCs as applicable.
- Translate research/translational/nonclinical evidence into imaging development opportunities and go/no-go recommendations.
- Lead strategic regulatory engagement with health authorities; manage briefing package strategy and clinical rationale.
- Establish KOL/investigator relationships; represent externally at meetings/advisory boards.
- Partner with Medical Affairs and Commercial on evidence-generation strategy and lifecycle plans.
- Manage resource planning, timelines/budgets, risk mitigation, and vendor oversight; drive prioritization/AI adoption.
- Travel ~30%; evening/weekend work may be required.

Qualifications:
- MD (or equivalent) with 8+ years pharma/biotech and/or academic clinical experience; oncology diagnostic and/or radiopharmaceutical imaging development through regulatory submissions.
- Demonstrated leadership in clinical development; leading cross-functional teams.
- Experience in early/late-phase protocol development and execution (start-up, oversight, analysis inputs, reporting).
- Experience with investigative sites and external vendors (CROs, imaging core labs).

Skills/Requirements:
- Patient-focused; strategic clinical development leadership; matrix leadership.
- Strong scientific judgment and benefit–risk mindset.
- Executive communication skills (written/verbal, health authority presentations).
- Deep knowledge of radiopharmaceutical imaging development, central reading, imaging endpoints, multicenter operations; regulated/GCP/ICH/SOP adherence.
