Senior Medical Director, Pulmonary Hypertension, Global Medical Affairs

Responsibilities:
- Drive execution of the annual Value & Implementation (V&I) plan with medical affairs colleagues across key countries/regions, with a focus on the U.S.
- Serve as Pulmonary Hypertension SME and connector across therapeutic areas; translate global scientific platforms into Medical Value Narratives (MVNs).
- Engage country stakeholders (medical advisors, payers, scientific leaders) to support local data generation, congress planning, and advisory boards.
- Act as the medical representative in Product Development sub-teams (Clinical, V&I, Commercial, Publications, Label) to support strategic planning and tactical execution.
- Collaborate with V&I Outcomes Research, Policy, Commercial, and Market Access teams to identify/address opportunities and barriers.
- Bridge global strategy with local execution for Big Country Markets (U.S., China, Japan); collaborate with US DMA and equivalents.
- Consolidate actionable medical insights; monitor external environment with competitive intelligence support.
- Organize global expert-input events, symposia, and educational meetings.
- Support local data-generation study concepts/protocols when requested.
- Review Investigator-Initiated Study proposals (ex-U.S.) prior to HQ submission; serve as review panel member for TA-specific Investigator Studies Programs.
- Manage programs to support appropriate and safe utilization.
- Manage assigned budget with strong financial stewardship (within 3% variance).

Required Qualifications:
- M.D., Ph.D., or Pharm.D. (M.D. preferred) and recognized medical expertise.
- Experience in country/region medical affairs or clinical development (Pulmonary Hypertension preferred).
- Strong prioritization/decision-making; matrix collaboration; excellent interpersonal, analytical, written/oral communication; results-oriented project management.

Preferred Qualifications:
- 3+ years regional medical affairs experience (e.g., Regional Director Medical Affairs).
- Customer/scientific leadership expertise with payers and other key stakeholders in the therapeutic area.
