Senior Medical Director, Pulmonary Hypertension, Global Medical Affairs

Role Summary
- Global Senior Director Medical Affairs (GDMA) for Pulmonary Hypertension; drives Global Medical & Scientific Affairs (GMSA) execution within Global V&I Plans with focus on the U.S. and support for ROW.

Responsibilities
- Drive execution of the annual V&I plan with key country/region medical affairs teams (U.S. focus), making strategic, agile decisions.
- Serve as SME and connector across therapeutic areas; translate global scientific platforms into Medical Value Narratives (MVNs); align with country stakeholders to support data generation, congress planning, and advisory boards.
- Act as medical representative in Product Development sub-teams (Clinical, V&I, Commercial, Publications, Label) and inform country/regional planning with relevant leadership.
- Collaborate with V&I Outcomes Research, Policy, Commercial, and Market Access to identify and address opportunities/barriers.
- Partner with Big Country Markets (U.S., China, Japan); integrate country insights into global plans and contextualize global strategies locally.
- Consolidate medical insights from countries/regions.
- Engage external scientific leaders and stakeholders; monitor external environment with competitive intelligence.
- Organize global expert-input events (advisory boards/forums), global symposia/educational meetings.
- Support local study concept/protocol development when requested; review non-U.S. Investigator-Initiated Study proposals and serve as panel member for TA-specific MISPs.
- Manage programs for patient support and appropriate, safe utilization.
- Champion Ways of Working and manage assigned budget with strong stewardship (target within 3% variance).

Qualifications
- Minimum: M.D., Ph.D., or Pharm.D. (M.D. preferred); recognized medical expertise; experience in country/region medical affairs or clinical development (Pulmonary Hypertension preferred); strong prioritization/decision-making; matrix collaboration; excellent interpersonal/analytical/communication and project management skills.
- Preferred: 3+ years regional medical affairs (e.g., RDMA) with proven medical-affairs strategy contributions; stakeholder/scientific leadership expertise (payers, public groups, government, professional orgs).
