Senior Medical Director (Hematology) — Individual contributor supporting clinical trial(s) and leading clinical development subteams.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as Clinical Development Lead on subteams, including Marketing Authorization Applications.
- Conduct medical monitoring: eligibility assessment, data review, and safety monitoring.
- Lead peer-to-peer interactions with investigators; act as point of contact for clinical issues between study team and investigators.
- Lead and contribute to development/maintenance of clinical trial and regulatory documents with Clinical Scientists and cross-functional teams.
- Collaborate with Global Development Team to create/refine development strategies; represent the company in external engagements/joint collaborations.
- Support and participate in regulatory interactions.
- Review/interpret clinical data with Clinical Scientist; identify key findings/implications and communicate to internal/external stakeholders.
- Stay current on literature/guidelines to advise and drive current/future clinical development plans.
Basic qualifications:
- Medical degree with 5+ years clinical/industry experience.
- Hematology/Oncology experience in academia/industry.
- Late-stage clinical development experience.
- Clinical development leadership across several study teams.
- Excellent communication skills; strong strategic and analytical skills.
Preferred qualifications:
- Leadership/management experience.
- Board certified/eligible in hematology/oncology.
- Experience across multiple phases and drug classes in oncology; late clinical development in hematology.
