Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategic and operational Global Medical Affairs programs focused on innovative evidence, launch readiness, and/or post-market solutions, including medical affairs planning and execution of the medical/scientific engagement strategy.
- Provide expertise for end-to-end program design and execution; contribute inputs throughout program lifecycles.
- Develop and execute the Integrated Evidence Plan (IEP) and functional-specific programs to maximize value for the prioritized launch portfolio and medicine impact.
- Demonstrate Medical Leader competencies within US Medical Affairs; preferably with CV launch experience.
- Build partnerships with Medical and Commercial teams and with US and Global colleagues.
- Serve as a key member of the cross-functional Medical Strategy Team (MST).
- Drive a robust data generation program for current indication and pelacarsen lifecycle, including:
- Co-develop study programs with Health Economics & Outcomes Research (HE&OR)
- Lead Investigator-Initiated Trial (IIT) program
- Lead US-based Phase 3b/4 studies
- Collaborate with global teams on lifecycle management studies for USA
- Foster relationships with national, regional, and local medical experts (including investigators); support Medical Expert Engagement Strategy.
- Drive advisory boards and work with Field Medical on insight-gathering initiatives.

Qualifications (Requirements):
- Bachelor’s (4-year University Degree) required.
- Doctorate level degree (MD, PharmD, DO, or PhD in Health Sciences or related field) OR NP/PA degree with significant relevant clinical experience required.

Work Experience:
- Strong Medical Affairs background.
- Launch experience in CV.
- Strategy Development.
