Senior Manager, Value & Access Insights – Cross Portfolio Innovation

Role: Senior Manager, Value & Access Insights – Cross Portfolio Innovation, focusing on developing evidence and analytical tools to support payer engagement and access strategies across Amgen's oncology, inflammation, and rare disease portfolios. Responsibilities: lead cross-portfolio value-evidence strategies, identify evidence gaps, advance innovative contracting tools, own and improve analytics products (e.g., CIQ, PEP AI), facilitate adoption and capability building, and support ad hoc pricing and contracting analyses. Requirements: PhD or Master’s in Business, Finance, Economics, Data Science, or related fields with 2-6 years of relevant experience; preferred 5+ years in biopharma, health care analytics, or strategy consulting. Skills: expertise in developing payer-focused evidence, applying statistical/machine learning methods, proficiency in Python, SQL, Excel, and BI tools; strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills. High-Value: experience with U.S. payer/provider landscape, value evidence strategies, innovative contracting solutions, and analytical product lifecycle management. Work setup: hybrid role based in Thousand Oaks, CA, with on-site presence 2 days/week.
