Responsibilities:
- Lead development and execution of thought leader engagement strategies aligned with brand and disease education objectives.
- Develop and manage KOL relationships to support advisory boards, educational content development, speaker programs, and strategic initiatives.
- Partner with Thought Leader Liaisons, Speaker Bureau, and conference teams for consistent execution across engagement channels.
- Collaborate to define objectives and plan advisory boards/steering committees aligned with business priorities.
- Define meeting objectives and discussion frameworks to generate actionable insights.
- Oversee end-to-end execution (coordination, RFA development/approvals, advisor selection, faculty management, agency oversight) and lead meeting materials/on-site assets (digital/print).
- Collect, synthesize, and communicate insights; translate insights into actionable recommendations for brand strategy and educational initiatives.
- Develop/review/manage educational and promotional materials (slide decks, training tools, product theater content); lead national/regional product theater content development.
- Identify/manage partnerships with professional societies and third-party organizations to expand disease awareness and educational reach.
- Oversee external agency partners and ensure high-quality deliverables, performance, and budget management; maintain operational excellence.
- Partner with the Commercial Review Team (CRT) for content approvals and compliance with regulatory/legal/company policies.
- Travel as needed.
Preferred Skills/Qualifications/Experience:
- Proven thought leader engagement strategy expertise and KOL relationship management.
- Strong insight generation/synthesis and ability to translate complex findings into recommendations.
- Ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders.
- Experience developing educational content aligned with clinical evidence/strategic priorities.
- Scientific/clinical aptitude to engage thought leaders.
- Track record leading complex, multi-workstream projects.
- Vendor/agency management experience a plus.
- Bachelorβs (Masterβs preferred); 7+ years in pharma/biotech; 4β5 years in thought leader programming/medical education/brand management (endocrinology and/or orphan drug a plus).
