Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the Lab Operations team; supervise a Senior Project Management Coordinator.
- Serve as Chief of Staff to the DST Vice President.
- Act as a strategic/operational business partner to functional leadership teams.
- Build and maintain resource/forecasting models; analyze capacity and demand.
- Partner with functional leaders to capture and reflect workload assumptions in planning outputs.
- Own DST resource forecast data analysis and administer/sustain forecasting processes and tools.
- Manage DST capital and expense budgets end-to-end (target setting, forecasting, performance tracking, reporting).
- Track/report headcount; develop/oversee functional targets.
- Monitor progress vs. departmental goals/objectives/key results; communicate risks and mitigation plans.
- Plan/facilitate DST SLT/XLT meetings, off-sites, and strategy sessions (agendas, minutes, action items, follow-through).
- Develop executive presentations and provide PM leadership for high-priority initiatives.
- Drive adoption of digital tools to improve collaboration and operational efficiency.
- Ensure timely cross-functional collaboration and information flow.
Qualifications:
Basic:
- Doctorate + 2 years, or Master’s + 6 years, or Bachelor’s + 8 years, or Associate’s + 10 years, or High School/GED + 12 years of project management and/or strategic planning operations.
- Plus minimum 2 years experience directly managing people and/or leading teams/projects/programs or directing resource allocation.
Preferred:
- 5+ years in pharma/biotech/healthcare with CMC and/or Design Controls.
- Ability to build alignment and foster cross-functional collaboration.
- Strong interpersonal, influencing, and communication skills.
- Critical thinking, strategic mindset, structured problem-solving.
- Expertise in project management methodologies/tools; experience supporting senior/executive stakeholders.
- Advanced MS Project, Excel, Microsoft Teams, SharePoint.
