Senior Manager, Portfolio Management (Engineering & Property Services)
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the stand-up and maturation of the Global Project Portfolio (GPP), including defining portfolio governance, roles, ownership, and ways of working
- Serve as steward of a single source of truth for the global Capex project portfolio by integrating data across enterprise systems to provide an end-to-end view of investments, performance, and risk
- Evolve portfolio reporting from descriptive dashboards to forward-looking/predictive insights to anticipate schedule, cost, and resource risks, optimize capital allocation, and align investments to strategic priorities
- Develop and deliver consolidated portfolio views (including Capex and schedule risk) to support leadership decision-making and portfolio trade-offs
- Translate complex portfolio data into clear, leadership-team-ready insights and recommendations
- Enable linkage between high-risk assets and project portfolios for early identification, visibility, and risk mitigation
- Embed resource management and capacity planning into portfolio insights to proactively surface constraints impacting delivery
- Partner across E&PS functions, regions, and stakeholders to ensure consistent inputs, alignment, and adoption of portfolio standards
- Build portfolio literacy through targeted training/coaching so users interpret GPP outputs and apply insights in portfolio/leadership forums
- Continuously improve portfolio processes, analytics, and tools to strengthen transparency, predictability, and portfolio performance
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required; Engineering, Construction Management, or related field preferred
- Qualifications or formal training in data analytics
- Relevant certification/qualification in Portfolio or Program Management
- MBA or equivalent advanced business degree
- FPX Trained
- Minimum 5 years of Project Delivery management experience, including portfolio/program-level experience
- Proven ability to partner across functions in a matrixed environment
- Strong analytical capability (extract, analyze, interpret data to drive insights)
- Ability to translate data into senior-leadership-ready presentations and recommendations
- Knowledge of portfolio management systems and inter-segment coordination (e.g., Planisware, G-Craft or similar)
- Experience using analytics and integrated data for portfolio/program-level decision-making
- Familiarity with portfolio/capital planning/enterprise planning tools (e.g., Planisware or similar)
- Ability to translate complex portfolio data into executive-ready insights and recommendations
- Experience supporting portfolio governance, operating models, or investment decision frameworks
- Strong stakeholder engagement and influencing skills
