Deep knowledge of ICD-10-CM, CPT, HCPCS, CMS guidelines, and proven experience shaping reimbursement strategies are essential. Preferred skills include payer relationship development, familiarity with imaging or diagnostics, and experience with EHR systems. The role demands strategic thinking with hands-on execution, influencing without authority, and operating effectively in a fast-paced environment. Location is U.S.-based with no specified travel. Success is measured by rapid ownership transfer, effective payer engagement, relationship building, and reimbursement improvements.
