Role Summary
Senior Manager, Corporate Development and Strategy responsible for supporting the strategic evolution of the company through lifecycle management, financial modeling, and cross-functional collaboration on BD&L opportunities, LCM initiatives, and ad-hoc strategic projects.
Responsibilities
- Identify new BD&L opportunities including diligence and technical assessment across early development, clinical development, regulatory, and commercial aspects
- Create financial models to support BD&L opportunities
- Monitor industry trends and scientific publications across target areas to inform BD&L opportunities
- Lead the preparation of Board materials, coordinating with ELT and cross-functional leads on content, timelines, and formatting
- Collaborate across cross-functional workstreams to evaluate long-range strategic initiatives supporting LCM and BD&L opportunities
- Manage the execution plan on LCM strategy, including business case development and financial modeling to inform key decisions
- Prepare high-quality presentation materials for senior leaders as opportunities advance through LCM and BD governance
Qualifications
- Advanced degree (Masters or PhD) in life sciences with 3–6 years of experience in Corporate Development & Strategy, LCM, New Product Planning, preferably in biopharmaceuticals
- Experience building financial models using Excel with strong formulas and charts
- Strong verbal and written communication skills; ability to present complex data clearly in reports and presentations
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment with strong attention to detail
- Collaborative style with the ability to build and enhance partnerships across the organization
