The Position
- Lead development and execution of consumer marketing strategies supporting obesity market development and launch of a new product.
- Build community and social media strategies connecting target customers to obesity education, support, and engagement content across the journey (awareness/education through initiation and ongoing engagement).
- Translate consumer/social listening/influencer/community insights into audience segmentation, messaging, content territories, and activation priorities.
- Identify unmet needs, barriers, questions, and motivation points across digital and community touchpoints.
- Lead social and community launch planning (channel strategy, content sequencing, engagement approach, execution milestones).
- Develop and execute social-first campaigns and creator/influencer/community activation plans; ensure integration with broader consumer launch plan.
- Identify and develop compliant, insight-driven partnerships (community, creators, influencers, advocacy, digital) supporting education, authentic storytelling, access navigation, behavior change, peer connection, or ongoing engagement.
- Lead agency partners across social/community/influencer/creator/content/CRM/paid media/experiential activations; ensure compliant, insight-driven, social-first content.
- Define KPIs; monitor performance via analytics and social/community listening; use data to optimize and improve impact.
- Manage budgets/forecasts, approvals, and governance; ensure on-time, compliant delivery.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred.
- 8+ years progressive consumer marketing/CRM/social-community marketing/account management and/or sales experience in pharmaceuticals (obesity experience preferred).
- Experience with pharmaceutical/life-science brand marketing strategy and planning.
- Experience designing/delivering field training programs; understanding of field force dynamics and incentive compensation planning.
- Strong project management; prioritization and deadline management.
- Strong collaboration/communication with cross-functional teams.
- Expertise in regulatory guidelines for promotional materials and field engagement.
- 20–30% overnight travel required.
