Senior Marketing Manager, Consumer Marketing
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the creation of consumer marketing assets (Patient Ambassador stories and program materials), including development, review, and approval aligned with brand positioning, messaging, and regulatory guidelines.
- Collaborate with cross-functional partners (medical affairs, clinical, regulatory, market research) to ensure scientific accuracy and brand consistency using patient-friendly language.
- Manage the content lifecycle from concept through final approval to meet aggressive deadlines.
- Ensure content adheres to FDA regulations, industry standards, and company guidelines for the target patient audience.
- Use insights to refine marketing strategies; monitor industry trends and competitor activity to identify differentiation opportunities.
- Represent the company at Ambassador training and live patient events (~10% travel).
- Oversee Patient Ambassador onboarding and training.
Qualifications and Skills
- Self-motivated, independent; proven ability to develop high-quality marketing materials.
- Strong project management; manage multiple projects under tight deadlines.
- Excellent communication skills; translate clinical data into clear patient messages.
- Cross-functional experience (internal/external stakeholders); strong attention to detail and compliance.
- Comfortable in a fast-paced environment.
- Required onsite 3 days/week (Conshohocken, PA or Waltham, MA). Travel ~10%.
Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s required; MBA or Master’s preferred.
- 7+ years biopharmaceutical consumer marketing or agency experience (required).
- Experience with cross-functional teams including medical, legal, and regulatory; digital/video/multimedia content experience a plus.
