Senior Manager, Commercial Business Intelligence

Key Responsibilities:
- Own product strategy, roadmap, and delivery for assigned Commercial Business Intelligence products (dashboards, scorecards, reporting).
- Partner with Commercial, Finance, Marketing, Field Operations, Patient Services, and APEX to identify business needs and translate them into scalable BI solutions.
- Develop and maintain BI roadmaps aligned to business priorities and enterprise data/analytics strategies.
- Lead cross-functional BI initiatives from concept through deployment, adoption, and continuous improvement.
- Manage and prioritize BI product backlogs, enhancement requests, release plans, and stakeholder requirements.
- Define, document, and standardize KPI/metric frameworks to ensure consistency and trust.
- Collaborate with enterprise data governance/data management and Business Technology teams to ensure BI solutions are scalable, governed, secure, and aligned with standards.
- Drive adoption through stakeholder engagement, training, documentation, and change management.
- Identify opportunities to simplify reporting, reduce duplication, automate manual reporting, and improve user experience.
- Support self-service analytics via reusable metrics, semantic models, and standardized reporting frameworks.
- Improve platform performance, data quality, usability, and scalability.
- Evaluate and recommend emerging BI/AI/analytics technologies.
- Communicate product strategy, roadmap progress, and business value to leadership.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field (e.g., economics, math, computer science, data science, analytics, finance).
- 7+ years in business intelligence/analytics/data products/reporting/consulting.
- Experience as product owner/manager or BI/analytics lead.
- Proven cross-functional leadership and stakeholder influence in matrixed organizations.
- Strong BI/reporting/KPI/dashboard knowledge.
- Ability to translate business requirements into data/reporting/tech solutions.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication, presentation, facilitation, and stakeholder management.
- Experience in pharmaceutical/healthcare/life sciences/regulated industries preferred.

Technical Qualifications (Required/Preferred):
- Strong Power BI (or comparable enterprise BI/visualization).
- Strong SQL; experience with large-scale enterprise datasets.
- Semantic modeling, metric frameworks, data modeling, and self-service analytics.
- Experience with cloud analytics (e.g., Snowflake or similar).
- Knowledge of governance, data quality, metadata, lineage, privacy, and compliance.
- Preferred: automation, AI-enabled reporting, natural language querying, advanced analytics.
