POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead, coordinate, and manage all technical and mechanical responsibilities of the BioDevice business within an assigned region.
- Manage BioDevice customer expectations and needs.
- Manage a team of BioDevice Field Service Managers who are customer focused.
- Function in a team atmosphere by leveraging key personnel to meet customer needs.
- Lead and organize troubleshooting efforts to resolve process issues at customersโ€™ sites.
- Ensure team members and customers follow critical In Ovo procedures required for optimal vaccination efficacy.
- Provide service/support to achieve assigned BioDevice sales targets.
- Manage BioDevice Field Service Programs for an assigned area of the US.
- Manage regional P&L and overall business expenses using financial and operational data to improve cost efficiencies.
- Conduct frequent ride-alongs to improve day-to-day operations; collaborate with Field Service Managers, poultry headquarters staff, and customers as needed.
- Oversee execution of the Process Evaluation Program.
- Lead all communications for Field Service Activities in the assigned area.
- Manage routine collection and reporting of information in the Zoetis CRM system.
- Coordinate execution of the established Field Service Program across the assigned area.
- Plan and coordinate training/educational sessions on safety, personal development, and devices.
- Implement procedures for subordinates in safety, mechanical, electrical, and hatchery environment processes.
- Provide regular customer-derived feedback to US Sales & Service management and initiate changes as appropriate.
- Develop and implement Improvement Plans for assigned colleagues.
- Plan and coordinate Engineering Change Notifications (ECNs) for the assigned area.
- Establish standards for baseline functions while allowing regional flexibility to customize to customer needs.
- Guide development and testing of new devices, components, and procedures to improve operation, reliability, or convenience.
- Develop and lead equipment installations across the US.
- Establish new Service Programs to support growth in new areas.
- Lead recruiting and hiring for new colleagues in the assigned region.
- Mentor, coach, and develop assigned colleagues.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- Bachelorโ€™s degree in poultry science or related field preferred.
- Typically requires 10+ years of related experience.
- Minimum 5 years of people management required.

- Proven skills interpreting and communicating Hatchery Air Plating Program results.
- Proven mechanical aptitude.
- Bilingual (English and Spanish) preferred.

PHYSICAL POSITION REQUIREMENTS
- Majority of work is in a hatchery with potential hazardous exposure.
- Heat and humidity above average.
- Available for unsocial work hours.
- Ability to lift more than 25 pounds.
- Travel 60โ€“80% of the time.
