Senior Laboratory Manager for Ligand Binding Assays

Main Responsibilities:
- Plan and oversee day-to-day operations for one or more laboratories/projects.
- Ensure laboratory resources (materials/reagents/equipment/facilities) meet assigned objectives.
- Support a quality and compliant testing environment (laboratories, equipment, reagents, training/documentation, methods, personnel).
- Manage project timelines with immunoleads, including resource allocation and test scheduling.
- Maintain alignment of processes/procedures and share best practices within the team/platform.
- Oversee operational activities of laboratory staff.
- Provide technical guidance on safety procedures and regulatory compliance.
- Monitor operations to ensure compliance.
- Provide personnel development and performance feedback.
- Ensure onboarding/training for new employees; supervise orientation and training of new staff.
- Ensure adequate staffing levels to run the department.
- Support test method life cycle management (documentation, method suitability/trending, maintenance, etc.).
- Support completion of analytical deliverables to meet project milestones.
- Assist in evaluating new technologies/improvements to strengthen analytical capabilities.
- Review/evaluate data and provide recommendations.
- Work with internal/external partners on collaborative projects.
- Prepare key documents as required.
- Ensure adherence to applicable quality, safety, and regulatory requirements.
- Track/manage expenditures against assigned budgets; advise on significant budget deviations; ensure financial operations comply with corporate requirements.
Required/Basic Qualifications:
- PhD + 4 years (or MS + 6 years, or BS + 9 years) relevant industry experience.
- Experience with ligand binding assays: ELISA, RIA, Luminex, MSD, Ortho VITROS, and automated platforms.
- Demonstrated team leadership/management experience.
- Strong organizational/prioritization skills with project management understanding.

- Ability to act as a liaison between groups/stakeholders (e.g., GCI and Maintenance/HSE).

- Understanding of GXP practices and procedures.
