Senior Laboratory Assistant, Bioanalysis

LabOps is responsible for managing and optimizing all aspects of the Lab Environment, including lab management, process optimization, compliance and safety, and resource allocation/coordination.

Daily responsibilities may include:
- Monitor and re-stock inventory in labs and storage areas
- Manage equipment
- Record work appropriately in electronic lab notebooks
- Adapt schedule as needed to include weekend support
- Stay adaptable and support additional activities as the team grows
- Identify and escalate potential problems to the supervisor; develop strategies to improve speed and efficiency
- Provide guidance and/or assist others with non-routine or escalated issues
- Communicate effectively with all functions and levels; demonstrate strong interpersonal and customer service skills

Qualifications/Requirements:
- Knowledge of laboratory procedures
- Ability to perform moderate complex tasks
- Ability to make recommendations to enhance processes
- Work cross-functionally with others in the department

Requirements:
- High School Diploma and 2–4 years of experience (or combination of training and experience)
- Strong organization, communication, and collaboration skills
- Service-oriented mindset
- Strong operational skills to execute core responsibilities with limited supervisory guidance

Preferred:
- 2-year college degree
- Experience in inventory management
