Senior Financial Analyst supporting the US Pet Health Vet Channel
Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary finance point of contact for cross-functional leaders; advise on the financial implications of operational decisions.
- Educate non-finance partners on budget management, ROI, and financial impact.
- Provide real-time financial perspectives in leadership meetings (project pivots, resource allocation, strategic initiatives).
- Identify root causes of variances and trends; explain what happened, why, and what to do next.
- Build flexible financial models to evaluate business cases and G2N program modeling.
- Perform predictive analysis to identify risks and opportunities in the pipeline.
- Support forecasting, planning, and reporting for US Vet Commercial Finance.
- Oversee monthly close; ensure accuracy in OPEX management, accruals, and G2N accounting (where applicable).
- Create and maintain executive-ready reports/dashboards (PowerBI/Tableau) and presentations.
- Automate manual reporting and simplify processes using tools such as OneStream and Alteryx.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelorโs degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics.
- 2+ yearsโ experience in financial planning, forecasting, or reporting (publicly traded company).
- Experience supporting diverse business functions (e.g., Sales, R&D, Marketing, Manufacturing).
- Advanced Excel; experience with large-scale ERP/EPM systems (SAP, OneStream, BPC).
- Ability to communicate with commercial and cross-functional stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Demonstrated ability to identify business problems through data and drive solutions.
- Experience building automated dashboards in PowerBI or Tableau.
- Experience in Animal Health, Pharmaceuticals, or high-growth manufacturing.
