Role Summary
Senior Financial Analyst โ MT Supply Chain Source - WCH/BIO. Based in New Jersey, Pennsylvania, or Florida (preferred: New Brunswick, NJ). Supports MedTech Third Party Manufacturing and Procurement teams for Wound Closure & Health (WCH) and BioSurgery (BIO) franchises within the Surgery business.
Responsibilities
- Serve as primary Finance business partner for the global WCH and BIO Procurement and Supply Chain teams to analyze financial data and influence business decisions
- Independently lead key month-end close and forecasting processes, including building content for and presenting to WCH and BIO Supply Chain leadership teams
- Forecast, track, and analyze purchase price variances, including cost improvement projects, market-driven price increases, and other raw material surcharges
- Partner with Surgery PMO to track and validate business cases behind cost savings, operational expenses, and capital expenditures
- Identify opportunities to streamline and automate processes, including acting as a change agent during the CFIN/Anaplan go-lives for MTSC
- Ensure compliance with general accounting and J&J Procurement policies & procedures
- Facilitate annual standard cost setting with business partners
- Support ad hoc business needs in a sophisticated, matrixed environment
Qualifications
- Bachelorโs degree required; accounting or finance preferred. CPA, CMA, or MBA preferred
- Minimum of three years finance or related business experience required
- Supply Chain experience preferred
- Ability to partner with people at all levels and strong communication, interpersonal, and influencing skills
- Ability to maintain, improve, and build efficient, sound business processes
- Highly motivated with strong analytical skills, intellectual curiosity, and proven leadership
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint) required
- Experience in SAP, TM1, Anaplan, PowerBI, and JDE preferred
- Comfortable with ambiguity and experience building and implementing financially viable business models
- Good communication and negotiation skills; ability to work in a team and meet stretch objectives
