Senior Financial Analyst, Global Investment Operations (New Brunswick, NJ)

Position Summary
- Supports end-to-end operational, analytical, and reporting activities for Johnson & Johnson’s benefit plan investment programs across the U.S. and international markets.
- Provides oversight, coordination, and analytical execution to ensure efficiency, governance, and data integrity across benefit trusts.

Key Responsibilities
- Custody and Systems Oversight: Liaison with global custodian; oversee investment data/document management; coordinate issue and data exception resolution.
- Cash and Liquidity Management (U.S. Plans): Monitor cash balances/capital activity/funding requirements; forecast short-term liquidity; analyze variances/trends.
- Capital Call Execution: Oversee outsourced process (subscriptions, redemptions, capital calls); validate trade documentation and recording; track settlements and exceptions.
- Rebalancing and Liquidity Trades: Support monthly/ad-hoc rebalancing; validate trade instructions vs. approved allocations/timelines; collaborate to meet asset allocation and liquidity objectives.
- Manager Onboarding (U.S. Plans): Lead onboarding for investment managers (KYC/AML, custodian setup, funding, readiness); coordinate with investment, legal, and operations.
- Data Analytics and Reporting: Prepare/analyze cash-flow and investment operations reports; build dashboards and trend analyses; ensure consistent data feeds.
- Derivatives and Hedging Oversight: Maintain knowledge of TRS, FX forwards, interest-rate overlays; monitor exposures/valuation drivers; provide risk/performance updates.
- Operational Projects and Process Enhancement: Lead workflow/automation initiatives; partner with custodian and stakeholders; improve data quality and operational resilience.
- Financial and Management Reporting Support: Partner with Accounting; validate values/activity for period-end; support leadership/investment oversight materials.
- Cross-Functional Support: Coordinate U.S. and international investment operations; partner with Investment, Accounting, Risk, Benefits; cross-train and act as backup for Performance and Attribution Analyst.

Qualifications
Required
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
- 3+ years’ experience in investment operations, custody, or asset management.
- Deep understanding of investment operations across public and private markets.
- Working knowledge of derivatives/hedging (TRS, FX, interest-rate overlays).
- Custodian platform experience (Northern Trust preferred) and CRM systems.
- Strong analytical/problem-solving skills; advanced Excel/data analysis.
- Ability to work independently and communicate with senior stakeholders.
- Up to 10% travel.

Preferred
- CFA or CAIA (or equivalent).
- Experience supporting pension, savings, or retirement plans.
- Power BI/Tableau and workflow automation experience.
