Role Summary
Senior Financial Analyst β Global HR based in New Brunswick, NJ. Provides day-to-day financial support and leads key initiatives, partnering closely with the Global HR Leadership team to drive business planning and performance.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate with senior HR leadership and Finance Business Partners to prepare and present forecast updates and quarterly result packages, ensuring the accuracy, consistency, and timeliness of all key deliverables
- Lead the corporate financial close process and latest thinking exercises β framing key drivers and business outcomes to corporate leadership
- Manage functional risks & opportunities β challenging key stakeholders when necessary β influencing senior HR leadership decision making to deliver on a compliant and successful business plan
- Collaborate on the Global HR target setting and long-range financial plan process
- Lead corporate SigniFi adoption across HR partnering with regional COEs, project team, and business partners across multiple J&J organizations
- Collaborate with HR FFL to assist with the Global HR benchmarking exercise to externally measure functional resource deployment, investment, and key cost categories to drive functional trade-off decisions
Qualifications
- Required: A bachelorβs degree is required, preferably in Accounting or Finance
- Required: A minimum of 3 years of finance or accounting experience
- Preferred: CPA, CMA and/or MBA
- Required: Extensive knowledge of finance and accounting processes
- Preferred: Data visualization software experience
- Preferred: Experience with implementing and driving global processes and results
- Preferred: Executive framing experience
- Required: Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills (Pivot Tables, Formulas, VLOOKUPs, etc.)
- Required: Ability to partner with associates at all levels of the organization
- Required: Strong communication, presentation, interpersonal, and influencing skills
- Preferred: Experience with ERP systems such as SAP or TM1
- Required: This position is located in New Brunswick, NJ, and may require up to 10% local travel
