Role Summary
Senior Financial Analyst, FP&A
Responsibilities
- Coordinate all aspects of annual planning and forecast processes within assigned functional area (e.g. MFG, R&D, SG&A), including consolidation and review of financials, establishing timelines, preparing presentations for management and oversight of submissions and commentary to Corporate Finance.
- Conduct ad-hoc financial analysis and return on investment modeling to support strategic decision making with our business partners.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide insights into their impact on the company's financial performance.
- Identify opportunities for improvement and growth by partnering closely with business leaders.
- Serve as central source of key trends, risks and opportunities.
- Lead and/or support various finance-related integration projects and process improvement initiatives.
- Work closely with finance leadership to drive prioritization and implementation of new planning models and changes to management reporting.
Qualifications
- Bachelorβs Degree required, major in Finance, Accounting, or Business preferred.
- MBA Accounting/Finance a plus, but not required.
- 5+ years of relevant financial experience-ideally in an operations-oriented environment.
- Experience in the life science/pharmaceutical industry or medical technology industries.
- Strong inquisitive thinking and problem-solving skills
- Strong technology skills including MS Office Products, specifically Excel and PowerPoint.
- Working knowledge of data warehouse systems preferred (e.g., PowerBI, AX, D365, Adaptive)
- Detail oriented with strong analytical and organizational skills with the ability to manage time and meet deadlines
- Adaptable to a fast-paced environment with the changing priorities and tasks.
- Strong communication skills and an ability to work collaboratively with partners across functions.
