Primary Responsibilities
- Provide expert medical and scientific support across the business to improve outcomes for people with cancer (drugs in development, marketed products, and disease state).
- Leverage scientific/clinical expertise to formulate clinical/scientific narratives, engage external stakeholders, identify evidence gaps, and shape scientific strategy and data dissemination.
- Support strategic planning, drug development, and commercialization activities.
- Lead and develop a team of 3–4 medical affairs professionals (strategic direction, mentorship, performance management).
- Partner internally/externally to execute medical priorities and lead cross-functional initiatives.
- Shape breast cancer strategy and execution plans globally (US and rest of world).
- Support clinical trial enrollment via messaging and significant investigator/site engagement.
- Serve as primary scientific liaison to key oncology thought leaders; represent the organization as a credible scientific voice at external meetings.

- Leadership & Strategic Execution: lead/develop high-performing teams; translate vision into measurable plans; strong project management; experience with cross-functional initiatives.
- Therapeutic/Strategy: breast cancer tumor expertise strongly preferred; pre-launch experience highly valued; develop evidence generation plans; launch readiness strategy experience.
- External Engagement & Communication: exceptional scientific communication; translate complex data into persuasive narratives.
- Evidence Generation/Dissemination: identify evidence gaps; drive disclosure strategy; lead analyses and research; support medical education and external disclosures.
Minimum Qualification Requirements
- Medical Doctor (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO); board-eligible/certified in appropriate specialty/subspecialty or comparable post-medical school clinical training (per country of hiring).
- Completed education/training at an LCME-accredited medical school.
Other / Preferred Qualifications
- Oncology experience.
- Clinical research or pharmaceutical medicine experience preferred.
- Knowledge of drug development and/or medical affairs preferred; strong US/global market understanding.
- Ability to travel ~20–30%.
- Fluent English communication.
- Geographically flexible; based in the US.
