Senior Engineering Associate / Associate Engineer, Manufacturing Science and Technology
Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and execute manufacturing processes for cellular therapy programs.
- Receive process tech transfers, implement them into a GMP manufacturing facility, and support hands-on Phase I manufacturing.
- Perform ongoing process development, including bioreactor selection, evaluation, scale-up, and characterization.
- Design and execute studies; analyze data and present results under a team leader.
- Collaborate extensively with internal and external teams.
Requirements:
- Receive tech transfers from development into GMP and from other sites.
- Implement and run cell processes into GMP manufacturing.
- Assist in developing, executing, and documenting process development experiments.
- Operate and maintain lab equipment.
- Author technical documents (batch records, SOPs, reports, etc.).
- Support preparation of CMC documents for regulatory filings.
Qualifications:
- BS or MS in biochemical, chemical, biomedical engineering, or related field.
- Senior Engineering Associate: 2–4 years (BS) or 0–2 years (MS) relevant experience.
- Associate Engineer: 4–6 years (BS) or 2–4 years (MS) relevant experience.
- Knowledge of cell culture and aseptic technique; strong scientific background.
- Bioreactor experience is a plus.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Benefits:
- Annual salary range: ~$110,000–$123,000 (depending on experience/level).
- Annual performance-based bonus (prorated by start date); medical, dental, vision; 401(k) matching; 20+ days PTO (prorated by start date).
