Senior District Manager, Respiratory β Great Plains
Key responsibilities:
- Develops, enhances, and increases regional sales performance to meet/exceed annual Company sales and market share objectives; executes corporate sales/marketing direction via the team.
- Implements regional/district sales strategy or business plan.
- Develops and maintains customer relationships with key executives and decision makers; conducts account reviews as required; monitors product usage and purchasing patterns; updates contract information.
- Provides regular feedback to sales representatives; identifies performance challenges and creates plans to address gaps; partners with sales director(s) and HR on disciplinary actions up to terminations.
- Analyzes team and territory performance; tracks and reinforces sales force effectiveness (reach/frequency, strategy adherence, tactical implementation, proper use of funds/systems/tools).
- Recruits and retains top talent; coaches/counsels direct reports to maximize performance and professional development.
- Ensures compliance with Company policies/procedures; reports noted/observed violations to management; maintains high ethical/professional standards.
- Communicates with supervisor/direct reports; promotes best practices; liaison with home office/region to identify and resolve issues.
- Applies organizational change management tools to manage change impact.
- Creates high-performance environment focused on professional development and accountability; eliminates barriers to drive immediate results.
- Exercises fiscal control on allocated operating budgets.
- Takes direction from Regional Director (marketing/standards) and cascades to sales teams.
Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelorβs degree and 8+ years pharmaceutical or healthcare product sales management experience (combination of experience/education considered).
- Must live in the applicable geographic district (North Dakota, South Dakota, Minnesota, Iowa, Kansas, Nebraska).
- Demonstrated leadership, motivational, and management skills.
- Preferred: prior successful pharmaceutical/healthcare Sales Manager experience; medical devices or other healthcare products sales experience.
- Ability to travel 60β70% (includes overnight travel).
- Valid Driverβs License and acceptable driving record; authorization to drive Company leased or authorized rental vehicle.
- Proficiency speaking/comprehending/reading/writing English.
Compensation:
- Salary range: $164,000β$246,000 (varies by skills, experience, and location).
