Sr. Director, Therapeutic Area Insights – Neuro & Other Rare (Commercial Effectiveness)

Responsibilities
- Lead strategy, design, and implementation of forecasting, insights, and analytics for a therapeutic area portfolio (incl. gene therapies and other modalities) across DMD, ALS, and Stargardt Disease.
- Advise Therapeutic Area (TA) leadership and Global Program Teams (GPTs) to shape program strategies, develop revenue forecasts, and enable data-driven decisions across go-to-market and competitive strategy.
- Identify key business questions; design and execute research plans; run end-to-end research projects and communicate findings.
- Select and manage external vendors (market research, competitive intelligence, analytics, forecasting) including scoping, RFPs, methodology approval, and budget oversight.
- Lead long-range forecasting (demand/sales driver models, scenarios/sensitivities, defining critical assumptions).
- Translate complex data into strategic narratives; continuously improve analytics methods; build and mentor a high-performing team; coordinate TA insights/analytics across EMEA and Japan.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, statistics, or related field (advanced degree preferred).
- 10+ years in strategic consulting, market research, or business development in biopharmaceuticals.

Required/Preferred Skills
- Deep understanding of one-time/specialized in vivo/ex vivo therapies (e.g., gene therapies, gene editing, cell therapies).
- Proven leadership; ability to transform complex data into executive narratives; inquisitive, detail-oriented, highly organized.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
- Nice to have: familiarity with global insights/analytics across EMEA and/or Japan.

Where/Travel
- Hybrid role based in Bridgewater, NJ; occasional domestic/international travel.
- Pay range: $214,000–$292,000 annually.
